Wagamama is a restaurant chain serving Japanese food and is headquartered in the UK. It was first opened in 1992 in London, Bloomsbury. At the time, it was different to anything else that was available in the restaurant industry and as a result, grew quickly in popularity. To extend their brand further, Wagamama has also introduced two cook books that both include a host of easy-to-make Japanese recipes. In November 2016, Wagamama also opened in New York and began to include brunch dishes on their menu. The chain now has over 140 restaurants in total and 120 of these are in the UK. Other locations that have Wagamamas include Turkey, Cyprus and the United States.
