How does parcel2Go work?
Parcel2Go claims that they are the cheapest parcel delivery in the UK, but how? If you visit the Parcel2Go website, you can put in the details of your parcel (weight and measurements) and state where you are sending the parcel from and to. Parcel2Go will then calculate how much it will cost (usually cheaper than other, well-known postal services) and provide you with a postage label. You can also choose to send multiple parcels in one go by inputting the total weight, rather than having to print a label for each individual parcel. When you receive your quote, you will also be told which courier is going to be dealing with your parcel. Parcel2Go works with a range of well-known couriers including DPD, Hermes and UPS. Once you have bought the service (the price depends on the size and weight of your item) you will be given a time when the courier is able to come and collect the item from you to send. Items can be collected on the same day if you book your collection within a certain amount of time. If you have arranged for a parcel to be collected with Parcel2Go and the courier has not turned up, please call Parcel2Go customer services immediately. Parcel2Go guarantees delivery within 1 day on most of its items and also gives the option of including £20 cover to ensure the protection of your post. Collections from parcel2Go are made between 9am – 6pm Monday- Friday.
If you have used the Parcel2Go service to post items, then you can track where your parcel is and when your recipient can expect it, using the Parcel2Go tracking service available on their website. To use the service, simply enter your P2G reference number which you will have been given when you booked your courier. Each parcel is identified by a different number so by entering this, Parcel2Go can quickly locate the whereabouts of your parcel and reassure you it is on its way. If you notice anything unusual when tracking your parcel, such as it stating that is has been delivered when the correct recipient has not received it, please call the contact number so that your delivery can be rearranged. You can also call the contact number with details of your delivery if you are unsure of you P2G reference number.
Parcel2Go Live Chat
As an alternative to the contact number, Parcel2Go also run a live chat service directly from their website where you can message a member of the Parcel2Go team about any minor issues you might have regarding their delivery service. If you cannot have your items collected then you can use the Parcel2Go locker service. The locker service is run by InPost and it allows senders to deposit their parcels into secure lockers that are distributed throughout the UK. To find your nearest lockers, simply use the website’s locker finder. The lockers are available to use 7 days a week and come in a range of sizes, to accommodate every parcel size. Accessing the locker is simple, once your label has been sent to you by Parcel2Go, you can attach it to your parcel and follow the on screen instructions at the lockers. The label can then be scanned and the item(s) placed inside. You will find the measurements of the lockers written on the Parcel2Go website so you know which one to choose for your parcel. If you have had any problems using the InPost locker system or would like more information, you can call Parcel2Go customer services.
You can log into your Parcel2Go account at any time using your email address and a password of your choice. If you have forgotten your log in details, you can call the contact number to hep retrieve them. Once you are logged into your account, you can find details of previous deliveries and track any parcels that you may be expecting, have recently had delivered. You will also be able to find P2G reference numbers here.

Ebay users can now link their accounts with Parcel2Go by heading to the Parcel2Go website. The link takes two minutes and then whenever you sell an item the buyer’s details will be automatically transferred to your Parcel2Go account. It then only takes a cou0ple of clicks for you to book the delivery service you need. Parcel2Go will automatically pull in the details of the parcels so that prices are calculated accurately. Within minutes your postage labels will be available to print and you can continue to sort through your next orders. It really is that simple.
